MEET THE TEAM

Robert Lukaszonas is the Founder and President of RML Lean Inc. Trained in Lean and Kaizen by some of the original engineers from Toyota, Robert has over 18 years of experience applying lean six sigma methodologies and tools to a diverse group of businesses throughout the USA and UK. These include manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, military, railroad, service and not-for-profit. He holds degrees in Industrial Technology and Industrial Engineering Technology. He is also certified in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and has achieved a Six Sigma Black Belt. Robert has held positions in engineering, quality and operations management.

Robert has a passion for continuous improvement, people involvement and hands on learning. He brings years of experience facilitating successful lean and six sigma improvement projects with sustainable and measurable results.

Steve Caffrey is a Six Sigma trainer, coach and mentor. He has been a statistical practitioner for over 30 years. Most of those years were at Eastman Kodak where he worked as a statistical consultant across the diverse manufacturing businesses and geographic locations of the company. As part of his career at Kodak he became a Master Black Belt, and was in charge of the Black Belt training program. At Kodak he spent over 10 years doing Black Belt and Green Belt training.

Since leaving Kodak Steve has consulted with various companies, including Pactiv,Ethox and Corning Glass. He has also continued to teach Black Belt at Kodak, and works as a coach and mentor to a large group of Black Belt candidates at Kodak.

Steve has been an adjunct member of the Rochester Institute of Technology's Quality & Applied Statistics faculty for over 20 years. He teaches courses in the Master's program, both on campus and in a Distance Learning format.

Steve is a member and Fellow of the American Society for Quality Control.

George McKeown is a Process Improvement Champion. He has extensive experience developing and implementing Industrial Engineering in a diverse group of domestic and international manufacturing companies including automotive, pharmaceutical/medical device, heat exchanger, ceramic, rail car refurbishment, and electronics. George holds a Bachelors degree in Business and a Masters degree in Operations Management. He is also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt and a Lean Practitioner.
